Setting up your email account in Microsoft Outlook 2007

Using Microsoft Outlook 2007 you can access your email account.

Quick and Easy Steps

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Select Tools > Account Settings
  3. Select E-Mail Tab
  4. Click “NEW”
  5. Check Manually Configure and Click Next
  6. Select Internet E-mail
  7. Enter your name
  8. Enter your email address
  9. Select IMAP from Account Type
  10. Enter mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name) in the Incoming and Outgoing server fields.
  11. Enter your full email address in the User Name
  12. Enter your password
  13. Click More Settings
  14. Select Outgoing Servers
  15. Select My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication
  16. Select General
  17. Select Purge Items when Switching Folders
  18. Click OK
  19. Click Test Settings
  20. Click Next

How to Create a New Email Account

Creating an email account is quick and easy using the control panel interface.

Quick and Easy Steps:

  1. Log into the control panel
  2. Select the user space that contains your website
  3. Select Mail > Accounts from the left menu
  4. Click “Create Mail Account”
  5. Enter a new email addres
  6. Specify a password
  7. Specify a mailbox size limit (We recommend 1000MB)
  8. Click Create Mail Account at the bottom of the page
  9. Other settings are optional and can be changed at any time via the webmail interface
